Taking Kirlian photographs using a standard 35mm film camera, digital camera, or video camera requires a transparent discharge plate. See the video tutorials below.

A transparent discharge plate is constructed from three main components: a 4" x 5" piece of glass with a transparent conductive coating (typically tin oxide) on one side, a transfer plate, and connecting HV wire. See the parts list. The transparency of our transparent discharge plates surpasses 90 percent.

The Film Plate Adapter allows you to use color and black-and-white 4" x 5" sheet film. It may also be used with Polaroid sheet film.

The Foot Switch for the Kirlian Photography Device allows the photographer to keep both hands free and concentrate on taking the photograph while triggering the discharge with a foot.
