When accuracy is important certify calibration to ANSI-STD N323A
ANSI-American National Standards Institute
NIST-National Institute of Standards and Technology
Manufacturers want to compete on price, not on accuracy. Don't believe an unproven claim of accuracy.
Our NRC certificate, certifies your Geiger counter has passed ANSI-STD N323A calibration using a NIST traceable source from an independent government licensed lab conforming to NRC regulations 10-CFR-34, 10-CFR-35, making it suitable for regulatory inspections.
Without passing an ANSI N323A calibration using a NIST traceable source, you can not be sure if any claim that a Geiger Counter accuracy is valid. Below is a picture of a certification label attached to the back of our Digital Geiger Counter. This certification is valid for one full year.
Before you buy, ask if their Geiger Counter is ANSI-STD N323A calibrated using a NIST traceable source? If not, their Geiger counter probably can not pass ANSI-STD N323A calibration using an NIST source from an independent lab conforming to NRC regulations 10-CFR-34, 10-CFR-35. But if a seller claims the ANSI-STD N323A calibration is expensive and is not necessary. Ask, "If I send your Geiger counter for calibration to ANSI-STD N323A standards using a NIST traceable source will it pass? And more importantly, if it fails calibration, can I return the Geiger Counter for a full refund?" The seller's answer will tell you what you need to know to make a sound purchasing decision.
* All digital Geiger counters sold by Images SI Inc. can pass ANSI-STD N323A calibration using an NIST traceable source from an independent laboratory licensed by the US government adhering to NRC regulation 10-CFR-34 and 10-CFR-35. The new standard in radiation measurement.
The only digital Geiger counters in its price range accurate enough to pass ANSI-STD N323A calibration using a certified NIST source.
We don't just say our Geiger counters are accurate, we can certify it!

Calibration per NRC Regulations 10-CFR-34 and 10-CFR-35.
Certifications are good for one year.
Certified Calibrations are an additional $125.00.
Certified calibrations adds 2-3 weeks to the delivery of your order. This is the time necessary to send and receive your Digital Geiger counter to our laboratory for calibration. Once your certification order is in process to our lab, cancellations have a 50% restocking fee, on the both the Geiger Counter and certification fee.
When you receive your certified Digital Geiger Counter it will have a serial number and a calibration sticker on the back, see photograph below
